So I finally get a call from the doc who saw me last friday to get my blood results. He doesn't have my chart and doesn't know why I saw him to begin with... sheesh... He noted my chest x-ray (taken by someone else) and confirmed that I have pneumonia. He said my blood work he ordered the day I saw him indicated there was some kind of infection. Well whoop dee doo!!! I told him that he has me scheduled for a CT scan tomorrow night and he's like, "for what?" I said it was because of the pain in my side. I mentioned that it has gotten better, and he says I can cancel the CT scan. Thank God... cuz it is for 10PM!! I'm going to wait though, cuz I'm seeing the other doctor (who ordered the x-ray...smart man) tomorrow morning. I'm feeling better overall...but I'm still coughing. I don't think i'm coughing as bad though. Lisa says I should be home... but I can't justify being home (using my precious earned time that counts as sick, vacation, emergency or whatever) unless ordered so by a doctor.
And seriously, I must be getting better because my appetite is coming back... and that first week on WW was easy because I didn't want to eat anything!!! I totally crashed and burned last night while watching fooseball....(the devil)... I know it wasn't that bad... but I'm dying to go home and get my hands on chips and dip!!!
Well, I think I have my cruise choice narrowed down to 2... price is similar, itinerary is different. Tough decision. So far it's me and Kelly as definates... our cousin Maryellen wants to go, and Melissa is considering it... Not sure what the final "crew" will be, it's at least me and Kelly!...hey, the invitation is still open!! We're looking at cruise price of $620 - 780 depending on how many people per room, and airfare is between $250 and $280... We're booking after tax returns come in (if Lahey ever gives me my W2 form!!!)
