rating: 2 of 5 starsI tried for over a week to get into this book. It came to the point where I was dreading picking it up. I enjoyed the stories about working in the shelter, but the parts about the author's dad just lost me. Maybe I'll pick it up again some day... I think I may be looking for a different type of read right now.
