So it may actually happen

I actually may go to see the Pops July 4th rehearsal concert. I just mentioned it to Jenn yesterday. I always say I want to go...but never make the plans.

Because we always do the family thing on the 4th, I miss the Boston celebration. I did do it twice, and had lots of fun, but weather plays a HUGE role, and you have to like crowds. So, I figure, forego the crowds, pack a picnic, and go for the rehearsal for a few hours, rather than a whole day.

I wish I had gone back when Aerosmith was the guest performers... this year it's Rascall Flatts...country people I really don't care about. But I'm more excited for the Pops... the cultural snob that I like to think that I am.

Hmm... what to pack for picnic...
