Water Jogging
I was at my aunt's house on the 4th of july and spent most of the day in the pool. I decided to start jogging laps around the pool and thought, "gee, this is a really good workout". So I told my aunt I was going to start coming over her house after work every day and run around her pool. Maybe I'd get up to 50 laps by the time summer is over. She welcomed this idea. Well, I've been busy after work all week (of course) but tonight I'm heading over there! I have my bathing suit in my bag at my desk and plan on getting changed before I leave here today. I love the water and I hope that I don't just noodle around and actually get some cardio in. Hey, it's good for my knee.
Garden News
Tomatoes are starting to set (yay!) and I saw a tiny little heirloom tomato this morning. I was so excited. I yelled, "hello tomato!" I have a TON of hot peppers setting. The sweet ones flowers have turned so I'm hoping for some of those soon. Oh, and one of my heirloom plants is now taller than the 6 foot pole that I have it staked to. I will probably go to lowes and buy an 8 foot pole to stake behind it and hope that it doesn't get taller than that. At least it's growing close to the deck. We can hang off the deck and pick tomatoes instead of using a ladder. Actually, it just dawned on me. Maybe I can tie twine from the pole up to the deck somehow and use that as support for the monster tomato plant... hmm... something to ponder (quickly, because this thing is HUGE). I also have a good bunch of strawberries coming in. No sign of chippy thieves yet but I still really think I have to take the plant in... maybe overnight. I have to trust my gardener gut. I walked past it today and I could swear I SMELLED strawberries. If I smelled it, the chippies did too.
Oh, is anyone interested in some fresh tarragon? I need to prune it badly and won't use as much as I need to prune. Let me know and I'll get it to you.

Water Jogging is great. I like to do it in alternating with laps :-)
