Blasts from the Past

So I spent hours last night downloading some new songs for my i-pod. Some are officially "new" songs...new releases. Most are just new to my i-pod. Majority of these songs are NKOTB and Boston. I'm "training" for the upcoming concerts I'm going to. I'm actually listening to "never gonna fall in love again" by NKOTB and with all the background noise in the office, and the fact that it's down really low, I can tell you that it sounds like ASS! LOL. I think I just can't hear the pitch right...you know, when people try to sing in public, and they start off on the totally wrong note/key/pitch because they can't hear it properly..it's distorted because of background noise. So not only am I listening to Danny Wood (not the best singer in the world), I'm listening to him distorted... Anyway, I added 50 more songs to my i-pod and it's still not 1/2 full. I find that I'm gravitating towards older songs... Gosh I'm OLD!!! I look at the music charts and I can say that I know maybe 5 out of 20 on each list (more on the rock list, thankfully). But my radio habits as of late consist of Rock 101 (out of Manchester), "All a Capella" on weekends on WERS, and "The Playground" also on weekends on WERS. I hardly skim past Kiss 108 or Jam'n. UGH! I need new music!!!
