Varmints!!!

I used to think that chipmunks were the cutest things in the world. When I'd go up to Gleaton Woods I'd watch them run around the woods and it would make me smile. That was all before they started taking up residence under my addition and deck. Now, they loudly chirp at 4AM outside my window and, apparently, attack my strawberry plant.

Now, I don't know for sure if it was this guy:

But I do know that I need to protect this damn plant! I bought some crop cover that I put over the pot today. I need to keep close eye on it because if it blooms any new flowers, I need to uncover it so it will get pollinated. I don't know if I even covered it good enough to keep the pesky critters away. All I know is that I'm PISSED. I might have to resort to buying some deer piss or something that will deter them.
